IL9 and neoplasm: In this syngenic model (Figures 6F, –J), we found that, targeted deletion of IL-9, resulted in induced body weight as compared to the wild type littermates bearing tumor (Figures 6F, G). Moreover, by assessing the tumor load, we found that both the IL-9 deficient and the IL-9 heterozygous mice had a decreased (but not statistically significant) tumor load as compared to wild type littermates (Figure 6H).
