Considering safety concerns of monoamine oxidase type B (MAO-B) inhibitors in PD, Ritter and colleagues [39] retrospectively reviewed the clinical charts of 28 patients with PD, who were prescribed Selegiline in association with antidepressants (including 3 patients taking Bupropion), with the aim to investigate the safety of different combinations. This evidence concerns the gene MAOB and Parkinson disease.
