In preclinical studies, Chang et al. investigated the anti‐inflammatory effect of IR‐C treatment in mice with lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐induced peritonitis by measuring the plasma levels of interleukin‐6 (IL‐6), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF‐α), and endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). Here, TNF is linked to peritonitis.
