As reported previously, the adipocytokine signaling pathway is closely related to lipid metabolism and obesity, so MAPK8, RXRA, RXRB, and AKT2, which are involved in the adipocytokine signaling pathway and were screened as intersecting targets in network pharmacology/transcriptomic/obesity-related genes, were considered candidate genes for molecular docking and verification. The gene discussed is AKT2; the disease is obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
