The proportions of patients with previous intestinal resection, perianal involvement, and CRP > 4 mg/L were significantly higher in the ulcer group than in the non-ulcer group (47.6% vs. 20.0% (p = 0.009), 42.9% vs. 20.0% (p = 0.027), 28.6% vs. 8.6% (p = 0.022), respectively). Here, CRP is linked to ulcer disease.
