In conclusion, the current study for the first time reveals that low-intensity PEMF exposure is able to effectively improve mandibular bone mass, architecture, material properties and bone formation as well as osteoblast survival and differentiation in type 2 diabetic db/db mice, which highly depends on the activation of Wnt3a/β-catenin signaling. Here, WNT3A is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
