Although less than half (45%) of high income countries reporting having a national strategy for EMTCT (S3 Table), 93% (103/111) of countries reported having a national policy for screening all pregnant women for syphilis, 93% (104/108) for HIV, and 74% (84/110) for hepatitis B.
