Notably, besides mycb and gata3, eight genes (h2afx, lrrn1, midn, ncaldb, patl1, psip1a, sec22ba, and sla2) which were not well studied in cancers, were commonly selected by gene expression and differential epigenetic analyses (Fig. 5A, middle; Fig. 5C; Supplementary Fig. 5B). The gene discussed is GATA3; the disease is cancer.
