The high expression of well-known costimulatory receptors such as ICOSLG and CD86 on CD206+ cross-presenting macrophages is in line with a significant positive correlation between MRC1 and CD8 expression in various human tumors, including skin cutaneous melanoma, colon adenocarcinoma, and breast invasive carcinoma (Supplemental Figure 11, A–C). This evidence concerns the gene CD86 and cutaneous melanoma.
