Chen et al. found that YTHDC1 was the essential m6A reader in acute myeloid leukemia and YTHDC1 was required to form nuclear YTHDC1-m6A condensates which help YTHDC1 to protect m6A-mRNAs from degradation and maintained acute myelocytic leukemia cells survival and the undifferentiated state for leukemia maintenance [27]. Here, YTHDC1 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
