The present experiment revealed that IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α were significantly increased in the myocardial tissue of H9c2 cells and DM rats exposed to high glucose environment, indicating that during the course of diabetic cardiomyopathy, an inflammatory response occurs in the myocardium, and this inflammatory response promotes the secretion of myocardial inflammatory factors and eventually myocardial inflammatory injury. This evidence concerns the gene IL1B and diabetic cardiomyopathy.
