Recently, epigenetic repression of histone marks (H4K16ac, H3K4me3, H3K9ac, H3K36me3, H3K4me1, H3K27ac) in TET3 gene has been postulated as a driver of glioblastoma development via genome-wide alteration of 5-hmC (39). The gene discussed is TET3; the disease is glioblastoma.
