Megakaryocytic hyperplasia is also common, and in most cases megakaryocytes appear morphologically normal and mainly mature and hyper-lobulated, i.e. with higher ploidy as compared to MDS or typical BCR/ABL-positive CML (27); however, megakaryocyte dysplasia is absent or minimal. Here, BCR is linked to chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
