Based on the microscopic morphological manifestations, immunohistochemistry, and molecular characteristics, some of the multiple nodules are consistent with a diagnosis of “adenoma.” Therefore, we proposed “double adenomas” or “multiadenomas” as follows: multiple well-demarcated nodules; lack of adjacent cortical proliferation; KCNJ5 mutant; positive expression of CYP11B2; and negative/weak expression of CYP11B1. The gene discussed is CYP11B2; the disease is adenoma.
