CRP and Decreased total leukocyte count: Peripheral oxygen saturation levels below 93% were also more frequent in this group [Group 1, n = 115 (54%)/Group 2, n = 18 (37%), p = 0.03], as well as minor lymphocite levels at initial attendance [Group 1: 1,344 ± 578/Group 2: 1,932 ± 405, p < 0.01], leukopenia (leucocytes level <4,000/mm3) [Group 1, n = 56 (26%)/Group 2, n = 4 (8%), p = 0.00], higher levels of C-reactive protein [Group 1, 64 ± 29/Group 2 51 ± 24, p < 0.01], and hospital admission [Group 1, 124 (58.7%)/Group 2, 19 (39.5%), p = 0.02] (Table 2).
