While it is already known that several CNS cell populations, including microglia, oligodendrocytes, astrocytes and neurons, and immune cells, such as dendritic and CD8+ T cells, are expressing c-Met [45–47], this is the first demonstration of the presence of CD4+c-Met+ T cells subset in the brain of MS patient (Fig. 6D). This evidence concerns the gene MET and myeloid sarcoma.
