Since neurohormones modulated ion channel function and expression, which led to arrhythmia, the transcript levels of Scn5A, KChIP2 and Kcne1 were detected by qPCR, and the results showed that acupuncture tended to increase Scn5A and KChIP2 but decrease Kcne1 expression levels (Fig. 6F–H). Here, KCNIP2 is linked to cardiac arrhythmia.
