The C-C motif chemokine ligand 22 (CCL22) and C-C chemokine receptor 7 (CCR7) have been reported to be highly expressed in tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) and associated with poor prognosis such as lymph node metastasis (Kimura et al., 2021; Qi Wang et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene CCL22 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
