CD8A and cancer: Therefore, we set out to explore the activities of cancer immunity cycle in distinct pyroptosis patterns, and found that Cluster1 showed significant upregulation in the majority of the steps in the immunity cycle, including the release of cancer cell antigens (Step 1), cancer antigen presentation (Step 2), priming and activation (Step 3), trafficking of immune cells to tumors such as CD8+ T cell, NK cell and B cell recruiting (Step 4), infiltration of immune cells into tumors (Step 5), recognition of cancer cells by T cells (Step 6), and killing of cancer cells (Step 7) (54) (Figure 3B).
