When we compared patients with inflammatory (encephalitis and myelitis, n=15, 25%) with non-inflammatory (45, 75%) neuro-COVID based on CSF and MRI findings, a significant increase of G-CSF was found in the serum of the patients with inflammatory neuro-COVID (median 17.7 [IQR 4.8-31.7] vs 4.8 [4.8-6.2]; p=0.049). The gene discussed is CSF3; the disease is myelitis.
