Tyrosine threonine kinase (TTK) is a dual-specific kinase with upregulation found in different type of cancers such as breast cancer, anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC), pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and therefore, inhibition of TTK results in the inhibition of cell growth and enhancement of cell apoptosis.169–172. The gene discussed is TTK; the disease is pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
