Recently, several drugs including lenvatinib, regorafenib, cabozantinib, and ramucirumab have been approved for the treatment of advanced HCC [4–7].Particularly, the combination of atezolizumab (anti-PD-L1) and bevacizumab (anti-VEGF monoclonal antibody)provided longer survival benefit than sorafenib and has become a new standard therapy in first-line treatment for advanced HCC [8].
