Iberdomide also increased T cell-derived IL-2 production in the whole blood of healthy volunteers owing to an iberdomide-mediated decrease in the repressive activity of Ikaros and Aiolos.5 In a pilot phase 2 trial of ascending doses of iberdomide in patients with SLE, strong correlations were observed between iberdomide exposure and reductions in the numbers of B cells and pDCs.12 The gene discussed is IKZF1; the disease is systemic lupus erythematosus.
