We revealed that lncSLCO1C1 in nucleus scaffolds the SSRP1/H2A/H2B complex and decreases DNA damage; whereas lncSLCO1C1 in cytoplasm functions as a sponge to adsorb both miR‐211‐5p and miR‐204‐5p and thus increases SSRP1 expression in GC cells. This evidence concerns the gene SSRP1 and gastric cancer.
