The functional parameters related to tumor-infiltrating CD8+ T cells were assessed using intracellular staining of IFN-γ and granzyme B. We observed significantly increased intracellular expression of IFN-γ (Figure 5, I and J) and slight elevation of granzyme B expression (Figure 5, K and L) in whole lungs of mice with IL-1β inhibition, compared with control counterparts.
