Consequently, our research identified the appropriate transfected plasmids (shRNA-3 and shRNA-2) that could significantly inhibit the NDUFV2 gene expression in, and suppress the proliferation of, drug-resistant MCF-7/ADR and SMMC-7721/ADR cancer cell lines, thus suggesting a new target of drug-resistant tumor genesis and development.
