The results showed that interfering with the NDUFV2 gene significantly inhibited the proliferation of MCF-7/ADR and SMMC-7721/ADR cells, and its rate of inhibition of SMMC-7721/ADR cell proliferation was positively correlated with time; this is the first time that the NDUFV2 gene has been linked to the activity of inhibiting tumor cell proliferation, suggesting that it may become a new target for studying tumor development.
