The results showed that the protein levels of cytokines: IL-1β, IL-6 and, TNF-α in prefrontal cortex of the diabetes mice were significantly higher when compared to the control group (95% CI [211.22, 266.28], **p < 0.01, F = 10.962; 95% CI [111.04, 129.46], **p < 0.01, F = 8.268; 95% CI [778.84, 868.66], *p < 0.05, F = 12.793; Fig. 7A–C, respectively). Here, IL1B is linked to diabetes mellitus.
