Previous studies have shown close relationships between the incidence of CHD and LAP (liver-enriched transcriptional activator protein), (IL)-1 (interleukin 1), IL-18 (interleukin 18), ANGPTL4 (Angiopoietin-like 4), and PIN1 (Peptidylprolyl Cis/Trans Isomerase, NIMA-Interacting 1) [27–31] but few studies have investigated the association between GLUT4 polymorphisms and CHD.
