CBLN1 and infection: The lack of LCF Cer in loh2-1 mutants did not result in visible developmental phenotypes under normal growth conditions (Markham et al., 2011; Ternes et al., 2011; Luttgeharm et al., 2015; Figures 5A–C; Supplementary Figure 2), or in a resistant phenotype upon infection by PsmDG3 (Figures 5D,E), indicating that maintaining normal levels of LCF Cer is not essential for plant growth or pathogen resistance.
