To determine the clinical relevance of AMPK phosphorylation- and CHKα2-mediated lipid droplet lipolysis with NSCLC progression, we performed immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyses of NSCLC specimens (N=316), which included tissue samples of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) (N=158, Figure 4A) and lung squamous cell carcinoma (N = 158, Figure 4B), and adjacent non-neoplastic tissues. This evidence concerns the gene PRKAA1 and lung adenocarcinoma.
