While “Physical Activity/Exercise and Diabetes: A Position Statement of the American Diabetes Association” mainly focused on both aerobic and resistance training, which improved glycemic control and physical health of patients with type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes, not only beneficial for losing weight, enhancing muscle strength, but also reducing cardiovascular hazards, increasing insulin sensitivity, and then delaying the progression of type 2 diabetes.
