In the current study, we used two allosteric inhibitors of SHP2 (SHP099 and RMC-4550) and found that both the SHP2 inhibitors could inhibit MM cell proliferation and suppress SHP2 phosphorylation in a concentration-dependent manner, demonstrating the common anti-myeloma activity of SHP2 inhibitors. The gene discussed is PTPN11; the disease is plasma cell myeloma.
