In this study, our results suggested that both the myeloma cell lines, 8226 (KRAS G12A) and H929 (NRAS G13D), are sensitive to SHP2 inhibitors, the latter of which contradicts previous reports that RAS G13D–mutated cancer cells are resistant to SHP2 inhibition (Nichols et al., 2018).
