The literatures suggest that reducing the expression of Ccnd1 through antisense technology causes a concomitant decline in Ccnd1-dependent kinase activity and results in inhibition of tumor growth, abolition of tumorigenicity, or, in some instances, tumor cell death (Kozar, 2004; Asghar et al., 2015; Sherr et al., 2016; Goel et al., 2017). This evidence concerns the gene CCND1 and neoplasm.
