TLR3 and viral infectious disease: The second group is located on the membranes of intracellular compartments (such as endosomes, lysosomes, endolysosomes and endoplasmic reticulum), including TLR3 and 7-9, which allows them to recognize the nucleic acid of invasive viruses and induce pro-inflammatory responses to resist viral infection (Kemball, Alirezaei & Whitton, 2010; Feng & Chao, 2011; Topping & Kelly, 2019).
