In agreement with these findings, our results demonstrated that knockdown of LOC100506178 or hnRNPK markedly blocked MICAL2, Vimentin, and Snail expression and facilitated E-cadherin expression, overexpression of LOC100506178 or hnRNPK significantly downregulated E-cadherin and upregulated MICAL2, Vimentin, and Snail, and knockdown of MICAL2 significantly inhibited the metastasis and invasion of NPC cells. This evidence concerns the gene HNRNPK and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
