High SNAP-25 levels (defined manually as >150 pg/ml) were not observed in any NeuroDegen subject but were found in 5 of the 59 NeuroCtrls [8%; IIH (n=2), Mollaret’s meningitis (n=1), neurosarcoidosis (n=1), and sinus thrombosis (n=1); Fig. 2D]. The gene discussed is SNAP25; the disease is meningitis.
