UBE2I and Hepatic fibrosis: Although the regulatory role of UBE2I in acute lung injury has been hardly reported so far, Yang et al., referred that overexpressed UBE2I was associated not only with poor prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma but also with immune infiltration in hepatocytes, and the results of RNA sequencing indicated that UBE2I was involved in diseases such as steatohepatitis, liver fibrosis, and inflammation, suggesting a potential role of UBE2I in inflammation [11].
