To assess the in vivo antitumor activity of the TEDbody in conjunction with adoptive transfer of ex vivo-expanded CMVp-CTLs, we treated NSG mice bearing preestablished orthotopic MDA-MB-231 xenografts or subcutaneous HCT116 colorectal cancer cell-derived xenografts having an average tumor volume of 100–120 mm3 with i.p. injection of the TEDbody or one of control substances (20 mpk) plus IL-15/IL-15Rα-Fc (15 μg); 6 h later, we intravenously injected ex vivo-expanded CMVp-CTLs (107 cells; Fig. 3C). This evidence concerns the gene IL15RA and colorectal cancer.
