For overall survival, univariable analysis revealed that cirrhosis (HR = 1.914 (95% CI: 1.077–3.402), p = 0.027), a higher level of serum ALT (HR = 1.003 (95% CI: 1–1.006), p = 0.023), serum HBV DAN load (HR = 1.105 (95% CI: 1.028–1.187), p = 0.006), and AFP level (≥20 ng/mL) (HR = 1.159 (95% CI: 1.115–2.28), p = 0.011) were significantly associated with unfavorable overall survival.
