Different anti-inflammatory strategies, including nonsteroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), inhibitors of TNF-α and NLR family pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3), agonists of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NRF2), and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR)-γ, have been studied for treating PD (Table 2).
