Figure 5A demonstrates that the mRNA expression of Mitf significantly reduced after 1% (v/v) CFS treatment at 6 h. The mRNA levels of Mitf and Tyr were lower in the cells treated with CFS than in the cells treated with arbutin. Additionally, the high mRNA levels of Tyr, Tyrp1, and Tyrp2 during α-MSH treatment significantly decreased by CFS treatment at 40 h (Figure 5B).
