According to the Phenotype-Genotype Integrator (PheGenI) in the NCBI database, other human genetic association studies have also suggested moderate associations between C3orf20 SNPs and several phenotypes, including pancreatitis, precursor cell lymphoblastic leukemia-lymphoma, Sjogren’s syndrome, and Parkinson’s disease [29,30,31], although these associations have not been replicated and the underlying mechanisms remain unknown. This evidence concerns the gene FAM194C and Sjogren syndrome.
