Seven LPL polymorphisms (T-93G, D9N, G188E, N291S, PvuII, HindIII, and S447X) were analyzed for their association with CHD via meta-analysis, which showed that some variants had opposing effects on HDL-C and TG levels, others had some beneficial profiles, and some were possibly associated with CHD [45]. This evidence concerns the gene LPL and coronary artery disorder.
