Grassilli et al. [94] discovered a novel isoform of BTK, named p65BTK, which is abundantly expressed in several colorectal cancer (CRC) lines (ATCC, LGC Standards, Sesto San Giovanni, Italy; Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA; Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen GmbH Braunschweig, Germany) and tumor tissue samples. This evidence concerns the gene BTK and colorectal cancer.
