The non-exhaustive list of genes being upregulated in the Met vs. Ctrl comparison in the three subtypes, namely, IL17A, IL17RB, IL6ST and the TNF superfamily; STAT3 and STAT6 in LUMA; VEGFA, PYCARD and NOS2A in LUMB1; and ATG5, DUSP4, GATA3, CEACAM6, AKT3 and BCL2L1 in the TNBC subtype, also supports a previous suggestion of targeting other molecules and pathways in different breast carcinoma subtypes [42,43]. This evidence concerns the gene DUSP4 and breast carcinoma.
