KCNK3 and epilepsy: In the present study, therefore, we performed a comparative analysis of TASK-1 expression in the hippocampi of responders (whose seizure activities were responsive to LEV) and non-responders (whose seizure activities were uncontrolled by LEV) in chronically epileptic rats, and validated the effect of ML365 (a selective TASK-1 inhibitor) co-treatment with LEV on refractory seizures in response to LEV to extend our understanding of the underlying mechanisms of pharmacoresistant epilepsy.
