Bioinformatics analysis of 17 different types of cancer diseases revealed that KEAP1 expression was significantly elevated compared with normal tissues in all primary tumors as compared with normal tissues except kidney chromophobe (KICH), thyroid carcinoma (THCA), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) (Figure 1A), indicating frequent elevated expression of KEAP1 in cancer. Here, KEAP1 is linked to thyroid gland carcinoma.
