Levels of serum creatinine (P = 0.025) and hemoglobin A1c (P = 0.030) and numbers of male sex (P = 0.005), hypertension (P < 0.001), diabetes mellitus (P = 0.024) and severe GHD (P = 0.004) were significantly higher in the overweight subgroup than in the non-overweight subgroup. Peak GH after GHRP-2 injection (P = 0.001) was significantly lower in the overweight subgroup than in the non-overweight subgroup. Here, GH1 is linked to hypertensive disorder.
