TNNI3 and COVID-19: Male patients had a greater myocardial injury, as shown by the higher level of cTnI at presentation (21.01 ± 45.11 versus 9.01 ± 24.65; p = 0.0001) and lower LVEF (48.24 ± 11.68 versus 50.68 ± 11.33; p = 0.010) during the COVID-19 period.
