After adjustment for age, tumor size, lymph node, tumor grade, ER/PR/HER2 status and treatment, pathogenic germline variants in MMR genes had a trend to be associated with worse RFS (adjusted HR = 2.34, 95% CI: 0.97–5.66, P = 0.06) and were significantly associated with worse DRFS (adjusted HR = 2.76, 95% CI: 1.14–6.69, P = 0.03) in the breast cancer patients in this study (Table 3).
